🚨 BREAKINIG: Fenerbahçe complete defensive double signing

Fenerbahçe announced back-to-back signings of Slovakian centre-back Milan Škriniar and Portuguese right-back Nélson Semedo on Thursday.

Semedo, 31, brings experience from the Premier League and La Liga, having previously played for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Barcelona. Known for his pace, technical skill, and attacking prowess down the flank, Semedo is expected to bolster Fenerbahçe’s right side and offer a modern, dynamic presence in their defence.

Škriniar, 30, a seasoned defender and former Inter star, was last seen at PSG. A rock at the back and a leader on the field, Škriniar’s signing marks a major defensive upgrade for the Yellow Canaries. If he returns to form, he could be the backbone of Fenerbahçe’s ambitions both domestically and in Europe.

After narrowly missing out on the Süper Lig title in recent seasons, Fenerbahçe’s aggressive moves in the transfer market suggest the club is all-in for the 2025–26 campaign, with Semedo and Škriniar joining the likes of Sofyan Amrabat and Archie Brown this summer.
