Luka Doncic continues to find himself as the center of attention in the sports world. After the shocking trade that sent him from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers in the middle of a Saturday night in February, the storyline that lives on is Doncic's health and fitness level.
Following Mavericks general manager, Nico Harrison's comments regarding Doncic's unwillingness to commit to weight loss and staying fit, the Slovenian superstar appears to have turned his offseason workouts up a notch.
On Monday, a three-part profile was published in Men's Health magazine, featuring Doncic and his current workout regimen and new diet.
Also on Monday, Doncic found himself inside Yankee Stadium. He is currently in New York to help promote "The One", a summer basketball campaign for Jordan Brand that tips-off on July 29.
Doncic was heavily involved in the festivities inside Yankee Stadium. Prior to the Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays game, Doncic met up with Aaron Judge on the field. And during the broadcast, Doncic made an appearance in the broadcast booth alongside Michael Kay and David Cone.
Naturally, Kay asked Doncic about the Mavericks, also suggesting his old team needs to see this edition of Men's Health magazine.
Doncic quickly put the Mavericks in their place with his response.

"After that deal was made, the Mavericks got a lot of criticism regarding it, and then they start to leak out stuff, well we don't know if he's ever going to get in shape. You should mail them a copy of the Men's Health magazine," Kay said.
"They probably saw it. I don't have to worry about that," Doncic responded.
Doncic, 26, is preparing to enter his first full season with the Lakers. His current contract runs through the 2025-26 NBA season, however, according to multiple reports, he is expected to sign a four-year contract extension with the Lakers this August.
In 28 regular season games with the Lakers last season, Doncic averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He was officially listed at 6-foot-6, and 230 pounds last season.
