Adam Serwinowski was selected by the Reds in the 15th round of the 2022 MLB draft.
Ahead of the MLB trade deadline, the Cincinnati Reds dealt left-handed pitching prospect Adam Serwinowski and right-handed pitcher Brian Van Belle to the Tampa Bay Rays for right-handed big-league starting pitcher Zack Littell.
The Rays sent Serwinowski to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and received catcher Hunter Feduccia in return.
Van Belle only made six starts at Triple-A Louisville after the Reds acquired him in June for cash considerations.
Serwinowski, drafted by the Reds in 2022, impressed in his first four starts of this season for High-A Dayton, allowing just three earned runs over 17 innings.
He's had ups and downs since, posting a 4.84 ERA and 1.439 WHIP with 92 strikeouts and 39 walks in 74 1/3 innings for the Dragons.

Serwinowski most recently was ranked the Reds' 10th-best prospect by MLB Pipeline
"The 6-foot-5 left-hander keeps opening eyes with what he can do," reads Serwinowski's MLB Pipeline profile. "He still has a two-pitch mix, but it’s a good 1-2 combination. Added strength allows him to keep adding velocity and he averaged 93-94 mph, touching 97 mph, with a four-seamer that features good spin and ride up in the zone."

Serwinowski was drafted 453rd overall out of Eastside High School in Taylors, South Carolina.
Serwinowski's Eastside teammate, pitcher Mavis Graves, was selected nine rounds earlier than Serwinowski, by the Philadelphia Phillies.
Graves is 6-foot-6; Serwinowski is 6-foot-5.
No players from the Reds' 2022 draft class have reached the majors yet, though infielder Sal Stewart, a first-round pick, appears to be knocking on the door.
Serwinowski turned 21 in June
Before the Reds drafted Serwinowski, he committed to play college baseball for University of South Carolina.
Serwinowski instead opted to join the Reds, receiving a bonus of $125,000.
