The update comes from Matteo Moretto, who explained on Radio Kiss Kiss that the Azzurri are looking for a player who can beat defenders and create numerical superiority.

Moretto mentioned two main names: Antonio Nusa and Federico Chiesa. The former is attracting interest from several clubs across Europe, which makes beating the competition a tough task. Chiesa, on the other hand, is coming off a very difficult season at Liverpool, is not part of Arne Slot’s plans, and is eager to return to Italy.

Another name in the background is Juanlu. Currently, there’s a significant gap between Napoli and Sevilla, but the Spanish club needs to raise funds—so they can’t afford to play hardball.
