Chelsea are struggling to offload Ben Chilwell and as of yet no clubs have come in for the left back according to The Athletic.
It was made clear Chilwell wouldn’t be part of the plans under Enzo Maresca, and he made one appearance for the Blues last season against Barrow in the Carabao Cup.
The England international was sent on loan to Crystal Palace for the second half of the campaign, where he was part of the squad which won the FA Cup.
Chelsea struggling to offload Ben Chilwell
Chilwell made 11 appearances in all competitions for Palace, scoring one goal, but the Eagles won’t be signing him on a permanent basis.
Chelsea face the task of finding Chilwell a new home this summer, and would ideally like to sell the 28-year-old on a permanent basis.

The England international is under contract until 2027 having signed his previous deal in 2023, and is reportedly on wages of around £200,000 per week making him one of the club’s highest earners.
It’s unclear what transfer fee the Blues would be looking for, but getting the wages off the books is far more important.
However, finding a new home for Chilwell is easier said than done, and The Athletic have reported Chelsea are struggling to offload the Englishman, and no clubs have come in for him yet.
Chilwell had been linked with a move to Leeds, and it appears his future will go right down to the final days of the window.
Jorrel Hato deal getting closer
With Chilwell on his way out, Chelsea are getting closer to signing Ajax star Jorrel Hato as they look for back-up to Marc Cucurella.

The Blues have agreed personal terms with Hato, and they are locked in negotiations with Ajax over a final fee for the 19-year-old.
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to pay £44m for the teenager, but Ajax are said to want £50m, whilst the expectation is an agreement will likely be reached.
