Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Hunter Greene struck out six in 2 1/3 innings in a 5-2 loss to the Omaha Storm Chasers in his first rehab start for the Triple-A Louisville Bats.
Greene also allowed five hits, including home runs by Michael Massey and Harold Castro, and four earned runs. He didn't walk a batter. He threw 50 pitches, 38 for strikes.
The Reds transferred Greene's rehab assignment to Louisville after he made one start for the Arizona Complex League Reds, striking out four in two innings of work.
