Trey Hendrickson's holdout is over.
The Cincinnati Bengals pass rusher is planning to report to training camp on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. While he is ending his holdout, which is the final of its kind across the league, Hendrickson and the Bengals are apparently no closer to reaching a new deal.
Hendrickson was also being hit with a $50,000 fine each day he missed camp.
Hendrickson is under contract this fall, though it is the final year of his current deal. The 30-year-old led the league with 17.5 sacks last season, marking his second straight season with that figure. He's been angling for a new deal the entire offseason, and made good on his threat to skip the start of camp.
Whether his appearance at camp is enough to jumpstart those negotiations and result in a new contract, however, remains to be seen.
