It's finally high school basketball postseason time in a small but hardy handful of high-powered states and federations. And despite Bullis' ESPN-televised upset of Long Island Lutheran, the rankings have more or less stabilized – for now.

Here are The Sporting News national high school girls basketball rankings for the week of Feb. 9.

PREVIOUS RANKINGS: Preseason | Dec. 1 | Dec. 8 | Dec. 15 | Dec. 22 | Dec. 29 | Jan. 5 | Jan. 12 | Jan. 19 | Jan. 26 | Feb. 2

Top 25 High School Girls Basketball Rankings

1. Bishop McNamara (MD) (21-2 – 1st last week)

After winning a disputed national title last season, Bishop McNamara is drawing nearer to a second consecutive national title – perhaps an undisputed one – with every week in which it wins out. Last week, the Mustangs pulled through in overtime against Elizabeth Seton for the second time this season and then beat St. John's by a 14-point margin. Only TAHC, St. Mary's Ryken, and Bishop Ireton remain on their regular season schedule, and Bishop Ireton also took the Mustangs to overtime earlier this season.

2. Ontario Christian (CA) (27-1 – 2nd)

The Knights beat Rancho Christian 85-65 in a tuneup game to end the regular season. Ontario Christian is the No. 1 seed in the CIF-Southern Section Open Division playoffs as expected and shares a pool with Rancho Christian and JSerra – two teams it's already beaten by 20 points this season.

3. Princess Anne (VA) (20-0 – 3rd)

Mercifully, the Cavaliers' regular season is down to its last week after a 70-37 rout of Green Run and 88-13 demolition of Ocean Lakes. Princess Anne's 70-57 win over Bullis looks even better now after Bullis upset Long Island Lutheran.

4. Archbishop Mitty (CA) (18-2 – 5th)

The Monarchs cruised past St. Ignatius 66-22 in their only game of the week.

5. Sierra Canyon (CA) (21-2 – 6th)

Long Island Lutheran's upset loss to Bullis doesn't help the Trailblazers' stock in a vacuum due to their loss against Long Island Lutheran, but the Trailblazers actually move up a spot without any teams having a strong argument to leap them. Like Ontario Christian, Sierra Canyon enters CIF-SS Open Division pool play tasked with beating two teams it's already beaten – Oak Park and Corona Centennial, the latter of which played the Trailblazers to a 62-55 finish.

6. Incarnate Word Academy (MO) (14-2 – 7th)

The winning streak is up to 11 games, and all except for the win over Long Island Lutheran have been blowouts.

7. Long Island Lutheran (NY) (17-4 – 4th)

It's no surprise to see Bullis breaking through for a high-ranking victory, and the blow is cushioned by the fact that LuHi is still 1-1 this season against Bullis. But it's definitely concerning to see the Crusaders fall 75-72 to a team they previously beat 70-49.

8. Etiwanda (CA) (27-2 – 9th)

Unsurprisingly, Etiwanda didn't lose another game for the rest of the regular season after frontcourt stars Jaylee Moore and Tess Oldenburg became eligible on Dec. 26 following the CIF's transfer sit-out period. The two-time reigning national champions and three-time reigning Open Division state champions crack the top eight for the first time this season and have a serious shot to continue to their dynastic postseason success across the Southern Section and/or state playoffs. Etiwanda will face Fairmont Prep and Saint Joseph (Lakewood) in CIF-SS pool play after beating Saint Joseph 72-44 in January.

9. Johnston (IA) (18-0 – 8th)

The Dragons made a statement with a 65-38 rout of West Des Moines Valley to nearly clinch a third consecutive undefeated regular season.

10. Westtown (PA) (24-1 – 10th)

The Moose' regular season is complete and they will play for an FSL title this week.

11. SPIRE Academy National (OH) (14-0 – 11th)

It's unclear what the rest of SPIRE's season looks like, but we can probably all agree that it would be fun to see them in a national postseason setting.

12. The St. James Performance Academy (VA) (15-3 – 12th)

St. James stayed sharp with a 77-52 rout of St. Frances Academy.

13. DME Academy (FL) (18-1 – 13th)

A bye week came immediately after DME Academy's only week of the season. DME has the resume to bounce back up in the rankings if the opportunities arise with its only loss coming to The St. James Performance Academy.

14. St. John Vianney (NJ) (20-2 – 15th)

The Lancers blew out St. Rose, Red Bank Regional, and Thrive Carter to keep the winning streak going.

15. Red Bank Catholic (NJ) (18-2 – 16th)

Red Bank Catholic's defense was stifling as the Caseys pulled out a win in their lowest-scoring game of the season, a 41-33 victory over formidable Cardinal O'Hara.

16. St. John's (DC) (19-5 – 20th)

Despite a 14-point loss to top-ranked Bishop McNamara, St. John's moved up four spots thanks to its prior win over Bullis, which just beat Long Island Lutheran. The Cadets also won by 20 points last week against an Elizabeth Seton team that pushed them to overtime earlier this season and has now done so twice against Bishop McNamara too.

17. Bullis (MD) (16-5 – 21st)

Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka went off for 26 points and 15 rebounds as Bullis toppled Long Island Lutheran on ESPN. For now, the Bulldogs rise four spots for the win over Long Island Lutheran, which dropped three. If that win didn't "only" move them to 1-1 on the season against LuHi, it might've vaulted them a bit higher despite their loss to St. John's. But Bullis' current winning streak could definitely continue to move the needle in the rankings as Bullis' season winds on. And avenging a 21-point loss to an elite team is an excellent sign and accomplishment.

18. Legion Prep (TX) (11-3 – 14th)

LPA only scored half as many points against Kingdom Collegiate Academy as it did when it beat KCA 88-72 in January, losing 53-44 in its only game of the week.

19. Tualatin (OR) (18-1 – 18th)

The Timberwolves passed a key test on Tuesday by beating West Linn 61-52.

20. Westlake (TX) (34-0 – 17th)

One more game and the undefeated regular season is official. Will anybody beat Westlake at all this season?

21. Wagner (TX) (31-0 – 19th)

The blurb for Westlake can be copy/pasted for Texas' other undefeated large school powerhouse. With Westlake in UIL Division 6A and Wagner in 5A, both could go undefeated through state titles – although both will have to outlast deep playoff fields of serious unranked competition to do so.

22. Belleville (MI) (16-0 – 22nd)

The Tigers look to beat Wayne Memorial, which is otherwise unbeaten, for the second time this season on Tuesday. Belleville won 77-49 when they played on Jan. 16.

23. Hoover (AL) (26-1 – 23rd)

Hoover finished the regular season in strong fashion, putting on for Alabama as usual in a 75-51 win over perennial Georgia stalwart Holy Innocents' Episcopal. At this point, the Buccaneers are a heavy favorite to otherwise win out after getting upset in their season debut.

24. Sage Hill (CA) (24-4 – 24th)

It's a juicy CIF-SS Open Division pool play pairing for Sage Hill, which got placed in a bracket with Redondo Union and Mater Dei. Sage Hill has given Mater Dei a run for its money a handful of times in recent memory but hasn't broken through, and this will be its best chance yet.

25. Wauwatosa East (WI) (20-0 – 25th)

With four games left in the regular season, Wauwatosa East is in the clear having previously blown out every team remaining on its schedule. The Red Raiders and Arrowhead are both in WIAA Division 1, so a playoff rematch is incoming if both teams remain unbeaten against all other challengers.
