Nico Paz’s stint at Como helped the player mature and flourish as a midfielder to the point where Real Madrid see an urgent need to re-integrate him into their dynamics.
The player will, thus, return to the Spanish capital come June and will be a part of Alvaro Arbeloa’s plans next season.
Another academy graduate of the club who is playing for the same Serie A side and hoping to achieve the same result is Jacobo Ramon, and Diario AS provide an update on his situation and potential return home.
A decision to make
As confirmed by the Spanish outlet, Ramon is progressing well in Italy and Real Madrid are pleased with how his development is going. However, he is not guaranteed a route back home as of this summer.
While the option of bringing the academy star back in June is indeed an option, Real Madrid are also keeping the idea of waiting another year before taking a call. After all, even in Paz’s case the player spent two years in the Serie A.

Los Blancos are more than satisfied with Ramon’s development but are of the idea that a second season under Cesc Fabregas will help him step up his game to a different level and thus do not wish to affect his continuity.
There is a need for a centre-back or two in Real Madrid’s squad, and the club will push for signings in the department come June. Staying for another season, in that sense, could well close the door for Ramon given the potential overbooking in the position.
The situation, thus, is a tricky one for the youngster. Balancing his development and goal of returning to the first team will not be simple and may well require some luck on his part.
