Saturday's Connecticut high school sports roundup: Cheshire boys ice hockey defeats Conard

Dylan Paul and Mark Laskin each scored a goal to help Cheshire boys ice hockey secure a 2-1 win over Conard on Saturday afternoon. 

Drew Rauch and Cowan Allen each added an assist, and goalkeeper Ryan Miller made 29 saves for the Rams.

Liam Alver scored an unassisted goal for Conard. Goalie Chase Emery made 39 saves.

In boys basketball action, Kam Quiles produced 17 points to lead Shelton to an 81-57 victory over Masuk.

Jacob Bauer followed with 13 points, and Carter Wood added 12.

Saijon Gavin netted 12 points for Masuk. Matt Boyle and Nate O'Hara each chipped in 11.
