Hilary Knight is one of the greatest women's hockey players ever.

She's playing for the United States this month in her fifth Olympics, and she's wearing the captain's C on her chest.

Against Finland on Saturday, though, Knight went down with an injury.

She took the ice late in the first period, took an odd fall, and went right back to the bench.

The next time her line went onto the ice, Knight didn't go with them.

The first period ended soon after, so it's not immediately clear what the deal with Knight might be.

She has scored 13 Olympic goals in her career, including one in Team USA's tournament-opening win on Thursday.

The United States is playing its second of four preliminary round games on Saturday. From there, the action heads to the quarterfinal stage.

The U.S. can afford to be careful with Knight for a little while at least, but they'll want her back sooner rather than later.

On Saturday, the United States led 1-0 after the first period on a power-play goal from Alex Carpenter.

Knight had been on the ice with that first-string powerplay unit, but it remains to be seen what kind of role she'll play in the rest of the matchup with Finland after the injury scare.
