Jurgen Klopp could be closing in on a surprise move to a European giant.

The German coach has not ruled out managing again after he left Liverpool. Currently, he is employed by Red Bull as their Head of Global Soccer.

The role sees him travelling all around the globe and overseeing operations at Red Bull's various clubs from Brazil to Japan and North America as well as Europe.

It's a much more relaxing role for the 58-year-old who had grown tired at Anfield over close to eight years at the club, which brought phenomenal success to Liverpool.

Klopp's legacy will make him go down as one of the greatest and most important managers in the club's history.

He oversaw the kind of success we could have not even dreamed about prior to him taking over.

The German truly lived up to his promise of turning Liverpool from doubters into believers.

When he left, the club had the foundations to succeed. It was because of the squad that Arne Slot inherited from Klopp that he was able to lead Liverpool to a Premier League triumph.

But now Klopp could be open to a new challenge. He's only 58-years-old, which isn't old in managerial terms. Jose Mourinho is five years older and he's still going strong, currently in charge of Benfica.

Knowing the attitude and mindset Klopp has when it comes to the game, he will be relishing a new challenge.

A lot of people have speculated this could see him take charge of the German national team after the World Cup but a report from Defensa Central claims otherwise.

According to the publication Klopp is high on the list of candidates Real Madrid want to appoint as their next manager. They claim that the German manager is close to signing a deal with the European giants.

And they point to further indication that a move is near by reporting on the fact that Klopp bought a mega mansion nearby Madrid.

The former Liverpool manager bought a villa in Mallorca for 4 million euros, covering 5,000 square meters. He also made a significant investment in its renovation, envisioning his own 'family eco paradise' according to the report.

The report implies that this is an indication of where Klopp could be managing next season. Mallorca is near to Madrid and it would not rule him out of taking the job.

It claims that Real Madrid are keen to convince him to join the project and would like him to be the club's manager next season.
