The Trojans would battle back after trailing by seven at the half. Topeka High would lead by six with a 1:38 to go in the fourth quarter.
Washburn Rural would need a three to tie the game but would elect to take the two shot, and the clock would run out as the Trojans would run away with the 68-67 win. That marks the Trojans sixth win in its last seven games.
