Everything that went down in the second half of this week's Asia primetime card from Bangkok.
Teenage knockout maestro Detchawalit Silkmuaythai barely broke a sweat as he dismantled Saw Min Min in less than 30 seconds in his co-main event bantamweight Muay Thai battle at ONE Friday Fights 141 on February 6.
The 18-year-old came out firing with lethal precision during the latest edition of the always-electric Asia primetime spectacle, recording his third straight stoppage victory at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The action was explosive while it lasted. Saw Min Min initiated chaos as the bell rang, aggressively closing distance with a five-punch combination after an exchange of low kicks.
Unfazed, Detchawalit kept his guard tight and created space for a wicked counter head kick. The crushing impact sent the Myanmar fighter crashing into the ropes.
He rose quickly but made a fatal mistake when action resumed. He dropped his guard low, and the Silk Muay Thai representative uncorked a laser right hand that landed flush on the button.
The 28-year-old was unconscious before hitting the canvas. The highlight-reel moment came at 0:25 of round one, which improved Detchawalit’s record to 49-5 overall and 3-0 on ONE Friday Fights.
