Liam Livingstone has signed a new contract to play for Lancashire in the T20 Blast for the next three summers.

The 32-year-old will now play in the competition for the Red Rose until the end of the 2028 campaign.

He was part of the team that won the T20 Blast in 2015, Lancashire's only success in the tournament.

The powerful batter and slow right-arm bowler did play first-class cricket for the county but since 2022 has exclusively played for them in T20 cricket.

"Lancashire is home for me, and I'm incredibly proud to commit my next three years of domestic T20 cricket to the club," he said.

Livingstone has played 100 games for England across all three formats, but his last appearance was against South Africa in the 50-over Champions Trophy last March.

He is a regular on the franchise circuit with his last games being in the SA20, before he links up with Sunrisers Hyderabad next month for this year's Indian Premier League (IPL).
