The England u15 head coach Matt Thorpe has named his squad for their upcoming trip to Cyprus next week, with Arsenal youngster Luis Munoz set for involvement once again.
Though he only turned 14 years old in December, Munoz made his debut for the England u15s earlier that month, when he was still 13. He appeared in wins over Iceland and Spain before his birthday, then played another 90 minutes in another win over Italy.
The Arsenal youngster will now get another opportunity to impress as the England u15s face Cyprus on Tuesday, February 10th and the USA on Saturday, February 14th.

This has already been a big week for Munoz, as on Tuesday he was part of a presentation on the pitch at half-time of Arsenal’s League Cup semi-final win over Chelsea.
The Gunners decided to recognise the Arsenal players who were called up to the UEFA Youth League u19 squad this season as schoolboys, with Munoz joining Charlie Phillips, Mikael Bonaventure Yetna, Jaden Maghoma, Kyran Thompson, Angelinou Pedro, Mishel Nduka, and Emerson Nwaneri on the pitch in front of the fans.
Munoz made his UEFA Youth League debut in a win over Bayern in late November, becoming the youngest player in the history of the Youth League in the process.

If there’s one thing the Arsenal academy are excellent at doing, it’s platforming their top talents and ensuring they get chances to progress to the higher age groups as and when they’re ready for them.
Munoz is just the latest example in a long list including the likes of Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Max Dowman.
The youngster has proven he can take on the challenge above his current u14 age group, so he’s getting chances with the older Arsenal teams, and that’s leading to opportunities with the older England teams too.
