Myles Garrett talks about breaking the NFL record, and delivers another sack live.
The Cleveland Browns appear all set to take home two awards at the NFL Honors tonight, with DE Myles Garrett the favorite for Defensive Player of the Year, and LB Carson Schwesinger the favorite for Defensive Rookie of the Year. Last night, Garrett was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on NBC.
Garrett was asked how if he was nervous or worried in the final week of the season, especially as the quarters were going by, and he still needed that final sack to break the record. Garrett said that he wasn’t nervous or worried:
That sentiment seems a little different than a few weeks ago, when he admitted that he had a nightmare the night before the game that he didn’t set the record, but we’ll roll with it. They also talked about the huge camera lens that Garrett’s dad was caught using during the game, and how he didn’t even get the shot of Garrett’s big moment:
