Lindsey Vonn has shown again why she is one of the best athletes fans have had the pleasure to see. The skiing legend suffered a worrisome accident during a World Cup downhill race in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, last week. After losing balance after a jump, Vonn skidded into safety nets.

He was seen favoring her left knee after the fall, and was airlifted to the hospital after being attended for several minutes. Vonn is dealing with a ruptured ACL, but that isn’t stopping the 41-year-old athlete for continue preparing for the upcoming Winter Olympic Games.

Vonn shared a video of herself working out despite dealing with a serious injury.

“I’m not giving up,” Vonn said in the Instagram post, “working as hard as I can to make it happen!”

Vonn squatted, jumped with the tip of his toes and from a box, confirming that she won’t be stopped so easily. Despite dealing with the knee injury, she is still preparing to ski at the Milano Cortina Games.

Despite starring in a concerning accident, Lindsey Vonn remains focused on her goal. She has requested her close ones not feel sorry about her and avoid sending her “sorry” messages.

“Lindsey’s telling everyone ‘Stay strong, don’t be a Debbie Downer,'” a friend told The New York Post. “She needs everyone to give her positive energy to get through this — that’s the number-one message to her friends and family.”

After working out effectively, Vonn’s real test will come during the official training runs. Her knee will face high speeds and the landing of jumps. That is the moment of truth. Thursday’s practice was cancelled. Additional training runs are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
