AS Roma have officially announced the signing of Colombian goalkeeper Devis Vásquez on a contract running until 30 June 2027.
The 27-year-old arrives in the Italian capital following a standout season with Empoli, where he made 32 appearances in Serie A.
Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on 12 May 1998, Vásquez becomes just the second Colombian to don the Giallorossi colours, following in the footsteps of Victor Ibarbo.
The club confirmed that Vásquez will wear the No. 32 shirt for the upcoming season.
A statement on Roma’s official website read: “AS Roma is pleased to announce the signing of Devis Vásquez. The goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract with the Club until 30 June 2027.”
Vásquez’s arrival adds further depth and experience to Roma’s goalkeeping department as manager Gian Piero Gasperini continues to shape his squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Roma fans will be hoping the Colombian shot-stopper can bring his Serie A experience to bear as the Giallorossi aim to challenge on multiple fronts this season.
