The Kentucky Wildcats are back in action tonight as they host the Oklahoma Sooners at Rupp Arena. Game time is set for 9:00 PM ET on ESPN2. You can stream the game online using WatchESPN and listen in through the radio with the UK Sports Network.
This is about as tricky a trap game as you’ll see for Kentucky this year. Fresh off a monumental win over Arkansas, the Wildcats are riding a wave of positive vibes as they enter tonight’s matchup as 8.5-point favorites.
But with how emotional of a triumph as that was, it wouldn’t be any surprise if Kentucky came out flat in the following game, especially against an 11-11 Sooners team that’s 1-8 in SEC play.
And that 1-8 mark in league play is very deceiving, as Oklahoma has had plenty of good teams on the ropes but was unable to close in the final minutes. If Kentucky doesn’t come prepared to play, these Sooners have the firepower to make this very uncomfortable for 40 minutes.
Hopefully, Kentucky is able to take care of business and keep up the positive momentum.
