Bryce Young and Rico Dowdle believe in the Carolina Panthers

RJ Ochoa sat down with Bryce Young and Rico Dowdle to talk about the growth of the Carolina Panthers and being wingmen for each other.

The Carolina Panthers were one of the more incredible and improbable stories from the 2025 season. Everybody who was watching football knew that.

What we maybe didn’t know was that their success came from a point of really believing in one another. This tends to happen when a group is doubted (something to keep in mind ahead of the Super Bowl!), but the Panthers really embodied that spirit.

Bryce Young and Rico Dowdle spoke to us about this disposition on Radio Row at Super Bowl LX in San Francisco. You can watch our conversation below.

Young and Dowdle consistently hyped each other up as the other’s wingman and for good reason. They have partnered with Bounty who is the obvious and proper wingman for everyone during Super Bowl food festivities.

At one point I asked Bryce for his favorite throw of the season and you would think that this type of question would evoke an answer of a deep bomb. His favorite was a simple screen pass that Dowdle took for 40 yards, the mark of a true and total wingman.
