Durham have completed the signing of Birmingham City midfielder Lily Agg on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via a media update from The Wildcats this evening.

The 32-year-old has a wealth of experience at Barclays WSL2 level. Agg has spent the majority of her senior career playing at that level.

Agg started out with Brighton & Hove Albion before enjoying a short spell with London Bees. The midfielder then enjoyed a two-year stay with Millwall Lionesses before returning to Brighton & Hove Albion in 2016.

The next move for Agg saw her play European football with Cardiff Met before she moved to Bristol City. In summer 2017, Agg moved to Germany where she joined 1. FFC Frankfurt. She spent one season in the Frauen-Bundesliga before returning to the English second tier where she has since turned out for Charlton Athletic, London City Lionesses and latest club Birmingham City.

On the international stage, Agg has been capped by the Republic of Ireland on 11 occasions while she has scored three goals for The Girls In Green.

Durham have confirmed that Agg will not be eligible to feature against parent club Birmingham City when the two sides meet this weekend.
