The relationship between Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr’s management appears to be entering a period of uncertainty, following his absence from the training session held on Tuesday morning.

Ronaldo had already missed the match against Al-Riyadh, which took place the previous evening and was won by Al-Nassr thanks to a goal from Senegalese star Sadio Mané.

According to revelations by sports journalist Abdulaziz Al-Osaimi, who is close to the club’s management, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner did not show up for the session reserved for players not selected for the match, even though he was one of them.

Al-Osaimi specified that coach Jorge Jesus had scheduled a morning training for the players who hadn’t featured in the game, a session that Ronaldo was expected to attend.

Several media reports suggest that Ronaldo’s absence is linked to his dissatisfaction with the club’s stance during the winter transfer window, due to a lack of reinforcements capable of strengthening the squad.

The same sources mention his discontent with the support provided by the Public Investment Fund to rival clubs, especially as Benzema has officially joined Al-Hilal, while Al-Nassr has yet to register any significant new arrivals.
