NHL Star Sam Reinhart Scores MLS's Sergio Busquet's $9 Million Florida Mansion

In a high-profile hand-off between two of South Florida's most decorated professional athletes, Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart has purchased a $9 million waterfront estate from former Inter Miami CF midfielder Sergio Busquets. 

The sale price is a slight appreciation from the $8.67 million Busquets paid for the property in 2023 and highlights the surging demand for luxury assets in Florida's exclusive gated communities, according to Robb Report.

7,100 Square Feet of Modern Luxury

Located in Sea Ranch Lakes, an enclave known for its privacy and deeded beach access, the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom house is on a 15,000-square-foot lot with 115 feet of lake frontage. 

Key features of the 7,100-square-foot home include a custom media room, library and office, high-impact glass and a three-car garage. It also has a swimming pool and a fully equipped summer kitchen. 

The median selling price for a home in Sea Lakes Ranch was $3.8 million in November, according to Redfin data. Home prices in the community were up 0.4% compared to the same month in 2024.

Reinhart's Home Purchase Follows Contract Extension

Reinhart, who scored the decisive goal to secure the Panthers' first Stanley Cup in 2024, signed an eight-year, $69 million contract extension with the NHL team in July 2024. He will make his Olympic debut playing for Team Canada at Milano Cortina this week.

Busquets, who joined Inter Miami in 2023, announced his retirement after the club's 2025 MLS Cup victory in December.
