Sunderland are in cruise control against Burnley and it's all thanks to Habib Diarra who is having a night to remember at the Stadium of Light.Â
The Senegalese midfielder was making just his fifth Premier League start for the Black Cats due to a combination of injury and international duty.Â
Having returned from Africa Cup of Nations, Diarra has made up for lost time, being directly involved in both of the Black Cats' goals.Â
He thought he had grabbed his first goal for the club in the ninth minute when his shot deflected off Axel Tuanzebe and into the net. However, it went down as an own goal.Â
The 22-year-old didn't have wait long for his first real goal though, smashing home just after the half hour mark to double his side's lead.Â
Good things come to those who wait it seems and Diarra is leading Sunderland into the top half of the table and maintaining their remarkable unbeaten run at home.Â
