Georgia's 5 most difficult games in 2025

Georgia football has a challenging schedule in 2025. What are Georgia's five hardest games this fall

In 2025, the Georgia Bulldogs have arguably their best home slate in years. This year could be the best home schedule UGA has had since the 2021 season. Georgia has a chance to host multiple top 25 teams and even top 10 teams as well.

Here's how we rank Georgia's five most difficult games in 2025

5. Auburn Tigers

Going on the road to Jordan-Hare Stadium at night is something not exciting for opposing teams. Being the middle point of the season, the Auburn game will tell a lot about this Georgia team and the direction they are headed. Auburn added many new weapons this offseason and will have a packed out stadium.

4. Ole Miss Rebels

Ole Miss Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin speaks to the media

Ole Miss got the best of Georgia last year in Oxford 28-10 during arguably the Bulldogs' worst game last season. Many things went wrong for Georgia that day and knowing head coach Kirby Smart he is making sure his guys are ready for this matchup.

Projected starting Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons went five for six in his only drive. He looked impressive against the Georgia defense and helped Ole Miss score a key touchdown last season.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide

This game is something that has everyone waiting on to see if Georgia can get over the hump. Georgia has not beat Alabama in the regular season since 2007 when Georgia beat Alabama was 26-23 in overtime. Last season's 41-34 thriller was one of the best games of the year in the SEC or even college football.

2. Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee is the first true road game for Georgia and Gunner Stockton's career. With over 100,000 fans in Neyland Stadium, the Volunteers will be ready to break the eight game winning streak that the Bulldogs have in the series. Gunner Stockton's ability to manage this game and avoid turnovers will be key for the Bulldogs.

1. Texas Longhorns

Georgia hosts Texas in a rematch of the 2024 SEC championship. There will be some familiarity of Texas and Gunner Stockton because Stockton helped lead the Bulldogs to last year's SEC title win.

These two storied programs will have two new starting quarterback in Gunner Stockton and Arch Manning for Texas. Arch Manning played a couple of drives against Georgia, so there is some familiarity. Both quarterbacks turned the ball over in their previous meetings and will look to do a better job in 2025.
