MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Midland College softball team defeated the Coastal Bend Lady Cougars 9-2 to sweep the opening series.
MC shut out Coastal Bend on Saturday, as they shut them out 8-0 and 5-0, then also winning game one of two on 11-3. The Lady Chaps start the 2026 undefeated at 4-0, and they’re back at home on Friday for a double-header against Luna.
