Cristiana Girelli becomes Bianconere record appearance maker

Today marks a milestone in the history of the Juventus Women’s First Team and in Cristiana Girelli's career: with her appearance in the match against Sassuolo, the Bianconere number 10 officially became the player with the most appearances ever in a Juventus shirt. 

With 238 appearances, Girelli now occupies sole possession of first place in this special ranking, surpassing Arianna Caruso, whom she tied with just a few days ago in the Italian Cup match against Napoli Women (in which she found the back of the net moments after coming on as a substitute).

This record is a testament to Cristiana's central role in the Bianconere project since 2018, the year she arrived in Turin, and her ability to be a constant reference point in every season, taking on different roles from time to time, but without ever losing her importance.

In addition to the appearance record, a special goal was obviously needed to celebrate such an important day: thanks to her goal against the Neroverdi, Girelli reached 150 goals in total with Juventus. 

This reaffirms her extraordinary scoring impact and further cements her status as the top scorer in our club's history on a day to remember.
