Young Brazilian striker Endrick has reignited speculation about his future following a standout debut in the colors of Olympique Lyonnais, where he arrived on loan from Real Madrid until the end of the season.

Endrick: "No one knows what tomorrow will bring"

In a statement to the French daily L’Équipe, the Brazilian prodigy left his future wide open: "Only God knows what will happen. No one knows what tomorrow will bring."

Reflecting on his integration into the Lyon squad, he explained, "My adaptation was very quick. I benefited from tremendous support from the players and staff as soon as I arrived. I’m very grateful for that. I try to improve with every match to help the team reach its goals."

He also emphasized the importance of the trust shown by the club’s management: "The club’s confidence has been essential for me. I felt a strong sense of unity within the group, which makes things easier both on and off the pitch."

Impressive debut with Lyon

The Brazilian international was named Player of the Month for January, a fitting reward for his remarkable performances at the start of 2026.

Endrick kicked off his adventure with the French club in style, netting four goals and providing an assist in his first few appearances. He then made history by scoring a hat-trick, becoming the youngest Brazilian ever to record a hat-trick in one of Europe’s top five leagues, surpassing a record previously held by Ronaldo "Il Fenomeno."
