Chelsea have submitted an offer to sign Nantes defender Tylel Tati (18) before the end of the winter transfer window, according to a report from L’Équipe. The Premier League club have submitted an offer of €30m for the France youth international’s services.
As the transfer window nears its close, the Blues have stepped up their interest in signing the 18-year-old in recent days. This has seen a formal offer sent to the Ligue 1 club with consideration. Tati has been a regular feature for Nantes this season, making 19 appearances and playing over 1600 minutes across all competitions.
Chelsea’s move unlikely for Tati unlikely
The initial offer has been rejected by Les Canaris. With the offer being rebuffed by the Pays de Loire club, a transfer for Tati now looks difficult. Chelsea planned to send Tati back to Nantes on loan until the end of the season, but with only one day remaining of the transfer window, time constraints look to prohibit a potential move.
