According to a report from Ouest-France, Joël Mvuka (23) is set to join Celtic and leave Lorient before the end of the transfer window. The Norwegian youth international is set to travel to Scotland before being confirmed as a new signing at Celtic Park.
An agreement has been reached for the versatile winger to make the switch from Normandy to Glasgow. Mvuka was instrumental for the Ligue 1 club last season during their promotion campaign. The 23-year-old made 30 appearances for the club as they were promoted back to the top flight from Ligue 2. However, opportunities have been harder to come by this season, with just 5 to his name thus far.
Mvuka to be Celtic’s third arrival in January
The Scottish champions are set to welcome their third arrival to Celtic Park in the January transfer window. Julian Araujo and Tomas Cvancara have already joined the SPL club on a temporary basis. It remains to be seen whether Mvuka will join on loan or a permanent.
