“Clear favourites” – Fabrizio Romano with the latest on Chelsea domino transfer

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has delivered the latest news on a Chelsea transfer domino involving centre back Aaron Anselmino.

Romano has been speaking last night on the domino situation that could see Anselmino head to Strasbourg on loan so that Chelsea can bring back their own defender on loan at the French side, Mamadou Sarr, to spend the rest of the season playing for his owned club.

Anselmino was bought back from his season long loan spell at Dortmund early, with Chelsea making use of a break clause. Many wondered why this was happening at the time, but it has become pretty clear to me now why this happened – they wanted to use him to cover Sarr coming back to Chelsea, not leaving their sister club short at the back for the rest of the season.

‘Bid rejected from PL club as well.’

Lets hope Anselmino can continue his development over in France now, because he looks like a real talent.
