With the news this week that on-loan Jack Grealish is unlikely to play again this season, Everton are finally making a move to add winger reinforcements. As reported by multiple media sources, the Toffees have made a loan bid for Tyrique George who has found himself on the fringes of the side especially since the departure of Enzo Maresca and with current manager Liam Rosenior indicating he’s willing to let him leave for the remainder of the season.

Everton’s offer is reportedly for a six month loan and includes an option to buy the 19-year-old in the summer. George has made 11 appearances this season, four in the Premier League, four in the Champions League and three times in the League Cup. He’s scored three times in the latter two competitions, with one assist in just under 500 minutes of game time.

The forward was close to joining Fulham on deadline day during the summer transfer window but the move failed to go through. Sunderland are reportedly also interested in the player now, along with more interest from the continent.

Apparently former Everton manager Sean Dyche is interested in Dwight McNeil at Nottingham Forest, but the Toffees are said to be blocking the move contingent on getting a replacement. But with Grealish already out, will Everton be looking for two wingers?

After the dramatic late draw snatched at Brighton, Moyes expressed confidence that the Blues would be signing at least one player before the transfer window shuts on Monday evening.
