Former NBA player Kyle Singler appeared distraught and disheveled in a foul-mouthed social media rant, in which he accused folks of swiping his dough and abusing his kid, according to New York Post.

“I don’t feel safe,” the former Duke and Detroit Pistons star says in the clip. “I’ve got people in my life taking my money — this is a message to everybody in my life who has been messing with me. My child is being sexually, physically, emotionally, spiritually abused. Shame on everybody that knows me that’s not helping, not intervening.”

Singler, 37, who retired from pro basketball in 2019 and earned an estimated $22 million during his athletic career, claims he’s living on the streets and that his child is being used as a “weapon” against him.

The 2010 Duke national collegiate champion says, “I have people in my life f**king me, and nobody’s there.”

In October, Singler was charged with misdemeanor assault in Oklahoma after allegedly grabbing his girlfriend’s head and pushing her to the ground in front of their kid.

Singler ended his online post by saying, “I have been taken advantage of every single step of the way, and now I’m talking. Y’all talk s**t, and now I’m talking s**t.”

In November 2024, Singler also shared rambling videos, including one talking about “religious war” and how “the world has been ruined by our leaders.” The clip prompted multiple NBA stars to express concern — including Utah Jazz player Kevin Love, who has been vocal about his own mental health struggles and wrote, “I love you, Kyle. Hit me whenever.”

Sources say Singler’s hard-luck situation is a shocking replay of the troubles of fellow NBA star Delonte West, who was reportedly begging for change in 2020 in Dallas, Texas, after nine seasons in the league, which netted him approximately $16 million.

At the time, West, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2008, entered a rehab program in Florida with the help of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and got his life back on track.

But in December 2025, 42-year-old West was arrested for allegedly robbing someone of $23 in Virginia. His attorney, Brandon Sloane, says there’s “much more to the story” and that his client was released on bond to a treatment facility, per Operation Sports.
