Roma are also looking to strengthen their left flank in the final days of the transfer window.
The possibility of bringing Niccolò Fortini to the capital hasn’t faded.
The 2006 Fiorentina player remains on the minds of the Giallorossi, who, according to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, have made initial direct contact with Fiorentina to try to initiate negotiations.
The Giallorossi have made their offer for Fortini, but it remains to be seen whether the Viola will accept it.
It’s worth remembering that the player’s contract with the Florence club expires in June 2027.
Roma’s primary objective, however, remains to provide Gian Piero Gasperini with an attacking left winger, a position the coach has believed needs strengthening since last July.
