Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Dutch defender Jorrel Hato, according to reports.
The Athletic say an agreement between the Blues and Hato’s current club Ajax is getting closer with personal terms already in place.
But forward Joao Felix looks set to leave Chelsea, with the club having agreed a deal to sell the Portugal international to Al Nassr of the Saudi Pro League.
The move would see Felix link up with fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo.
Benfica were in talks to sign their former player, but Sky Sports say Al Nassr have agreed a fee of an initial £26.2m plus £17.5m in potential add-ons.
Chelsea are also hoping to sign RB Leipzig forward Xavi Simons, according to various reports. TalkSport claim the Blues are set to make an opening bid for the 22-year-old.
Sky Sports, meanwhile, are also reporting that Luis Diaz is set to finalise a move to Bayern Munich after the German champions agreed a £65.5m fee with Liverpool.
The Daily Mail say that Diaz’s departure will now pave the way for Liverpool to launch a bid for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
Newcastle could face losing Isak this summer but are in talks to sign goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Southampton, according to The Athletic.
Talks are focused on an initial loan move with an option to buy the England shot-stopper, it is added.
Elsewhere, the Sun report that Aston Villa have interest in signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The striker is a free agent after leaving Everton this summer, though AC Milan and Newcastle are also said to be keen.
Gazzetta Dello Sport claim Manchester United entered the race for Paris St-Germain and France forward Randal Kolo Muani.
And Hayters.com understands that New York City FC are keen on free agent striker David Toshevski, with their forward Monsef Bakrar close to joining Dinamo Zagreb.
