Al-Ittihad owners PIF have deemed Inter Milan’s opening bid for star winger Moussa Diaby insufficient.
According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri must increase their offer to change the Saudi Pro League side’s mind.
The Riyadh-based outfit shelled out €60 million to sign Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa less than two years ago.
Therefore, they’re naturally expecting to recoup their investment and have no intention of selling the Frenchman on a cut-price deal.

Pressured to sign a reliable replacement for Denzel Dumfries, Inter had hoped to land Diaby in the final days of the winter transfer window.
Even Beppe Marotta acknowledged Inter’s interest in the former Villa ace.
Furthermore, they’ve submitted an official offer for the 26-year-old.
However, Inter’s loan proposal fell on Al-Ittihad’s deaf ears.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri were hopeful of signing the diminutive winger on loan with a €35 million buyout clause.
On the other hand, the Saudis would only consider an immediate sale, making it almost impossible for Inter to complete the deal.
