TSG Hoffenheim won their fourth game of 2026 as Alexander Prass scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win in Bremen. The Austrian international had to wait until his 50th appearance to score his first goal in German football.
"It's a great feeling to have finally scored. I think you could call it a dream goal,” said Prass in his post-match interview before turning his attention to the team’s performance. “We don't have to hide from anyone. We try to bring our all to the pitch in every game. The most important thing is that everyone gives their all."
Prass’ goal came on the stroke of half-time with a rocket shot from 25 meters. Fellow central midfielder Grischa Prömel sealed the win minutes after a straight red card for Wouter Burger early in the second half. Hoffenheim will travel to league leaders Bayern Munich after a home game against Union Berlin.
