Carlos Alcaraz has victory on the mind.
The Spanish tennis star, 22, revealed his plans to get inked if he wins the 2026 Australian Open, which would keep the fashion-forward tennis phenom's tradition of getting tattooed after winning Grand Slams going strong.
The reigning world No. 1 even has the design in mind and shared it when asked in a video posted by the official Australian Open TikTok account amid the tournament, which runs from Jan. 12 through Feb. 1 at Melbourne Park.

"Kangaroo," he revealed of the tattoo he wants to get if he wins.
As for where he'd like to get the ink placed on his body, Alcaraz was a bit indecisive at the time. He appeared to point at two locations on his legs, but his lower half was cut off in the video so the exact spot wasn't exactly clear.
"I have a spot here and here, so I would think about it," he said. "I'm a righty, so maybe the right one... next to the Wimbledon one," he added in reference to the strawberry design he got inked on his ankle after winning the prestigious tournament in 2023.
The Spanish prodigy is no stranger to permanent ink. He began his tattoo tradition after winning the 2022 US Open at age 19, when he became the youngest men's player and first teenager in the Open Era to hold the No. 1 ATP ranking.

To celebrate that milestone, Alcaraz got the numerals "11.09.22." tattooed just above his elbow on his left tricep.
The tennis star made clear in an prior interview with the Tennis Channel after defeated Novak Djokovic for his second straight Wimbledon victory in 2024 that he only gets tattoos after winning a major tournament for the first time, in part to keep his parents' nerves at ease.
“I told my parents, just to calm them, that it’s just the first one in every major!” he said at the time. “But I think this is a really big moment. I think I’m going to put the date of this one next to last year. I have to discuss it with them!"
However, the six-time Grand Slam winner — who's won 2023 and 2024 Wimbledon, 2024 and 2025 French Open (Roland-Garros) plus 2022 and 2025 US Open — recently bent his rules after winning his second US Open, adding tattoos of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge on his arm.

Alcaraz also has a tattoo of the Eiffel Tower after winning his first French Open in 2024, along with the date that he outlasted Alexander Zverev in five sets to win his first Coupe des Mousquetaires in Paris.
The Australian Open is the only Slam title missing from the tennis protege's impressive résumé, neither has he played in the final of the tournament. This year, however, he's a favorite to secure the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup.
Should Alcaraz come out on top, he'd become the ninth men's player to score all four majors in a career. He would also be the youngest of the group to accomplish the feat, smashing tennis legend Rafael Nadal's existing record by nearly two years.
"Completing the career Grand Slam is something amazing to do. To be the youngest [to have] done it before is even better," Alcaraz said, per ESPN. "I'm just happy with the way I see myself improving every match, every practice. I know that I'm going to keep going forward."
Alcaraz takes on Alex de Minaur in the fourth round of the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The 2026 Australian Open men's final is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 1.
