In a major development, Real Madrid starlet Enzo Alves, the son of club legend Marcelo, has signed his first professional contract with the Merengues.
Just 16 years old, the teenage forward has been at the Real Madrid academy since 2017 and has risen steadily through the ranks.
The Spanish capital club have great faith in young Enzo, as seen by the fact that he is already a regular for the Juvenil A (U19) team despite being only 16 years old.
Now, Real Madrid have managed to secure his immediate future at the club, with the young forward signing his first professional contract today, in the presence of his father and club icon Marcelo.
Real Madrid have high expectations of Enzo. A striker by trade, he has shown to have a special eye for goal and a deep understanding of the game and his rapid propulsion up the ranks comes as no surprise.
Considering that it was Alvaro Arbeloa who handed him his Juvenil A debut last season, it might not come as a surprise to see the 16-year-old get a call-up to the first team in the near future, with the former defender now taking over from Xabi Alonso.
