His performance not only earned him respect and new followers but also led to a trip to the hospital after the fight.

There has not been an official word from the UFC regarding Pimblett’s condition. But fans received a bit of reassurance from his wife, Laura, who posted an update online.
She shared a photo of the two of them after the fight, with their backs turned to the camera.
The angle meant Pimblett’s injuries were not visible, but her message made it clear he was doing all right.
“Us forever,” she wrote on Instagram.
“For everyone asking, he is absolutely fine and will be back.”

Despite the damage on both sides, Pimblett held his own throughout the bout, though Gaethje took more of it.
After the fight, the new interim lightweight champion was asked to go to the hospital but declined.
‘The Highlight’ insisted he was fine despite participating in one of the most brutal fights of 2024 so far.
Dana White explained what happened during his post-fight press conference, telling reporters: “Apparently, he’s 100 percent.”
“We sent Paddy Pimblett straight to the hospital and then we were gonna send Gaethje too and Gaethje was like, ‘Believe me, I’ve been involved in plenty of wars. I’m good’.”
“So as far as we know right now, he’s healthy.”
