Genk striker Jusef Erabi only joined the club in the summer, but it looks like he won’t feature for the side over the next six months. According to HLN, the Swedish striker has been told he can leave on loan. Two sides are said to be interested, although for one, the finances involved in the deal are making it difficult. As reported by Joost Blaauwhof, NAC Breda would like to sign Erabi on loan, but it appears unlikely that they can do so financially. That means that the other side showing interest, Austrian club Rapid Wien, is the likelier destination for the Genk forward.

Even with a change of manager during his time at Genk, Erabi hasn’t really had many, or been able to take many, of his chances for playing time. Despite a debut goal, he has only scored the one goal in 18 games. The 22-year-old left Hammarby after having scored five goals in 23 games during the 2025 Allsvenskan season, so perhaps there was a sign that he wasn’t going to be a free flowing goal scorer.

NAC Breda could desperately do with someone who can find the net regularly. The side are currently second bottom in the Eredivisie with 21 goals scored in 20 games. Sydney van Hooijdonk leads the side with five goals.

Rapid Wien are currently seventh in the Austrian Bundesliga with 21 goals from 17 games. They need to make it into the top six to avoid the relegation play-offs and compete for European football. Ercan Kara leads the side with four goals so far this season, level with Nikolaus Wurmbrand.
