The No. 12 Wasatch Academy [Mt. Pleasant, UT] Tigers made their bid for the Top 10 Friday night in a 75-48 blowout of the No. 6 CIA-Bella Vista [Phoenix, AZ] Bears.
The game was the only matchup this week between teams ranked in the latest edition of The Sporting News Boys Basketball Top 25, and it turned out to be a one-sided affair. Depending on results above them, Wasatch will be trying to crack the Top 10 in the next edition of that list scheduled to be released on Tuesday.
In other Top 25 action, the No. 3 Brewster Academy [Wolfeboro, NH] Bobcats trampled Reason Prep of Massachusetts in a 139-44 rout on Saturday while No. 8 Prolific Prep picked up three wins at California's Grind Session Crush in the Valley.
