Emi Buendía's screamer to open the scoring against Newcastle has made Premier League history for the club.
The Argentine midfielder picked the ball up on the edge of the box after some neat build up and angled one into the top corner past the despairing hands of Nick Pope.
Not only did it give Villa the lead, it also was their 13th goal from outside the box in this Premier League season.
