The contracts of several Manchester United players are up in the summer, and INEOS need to make a call on their futures soon.
Casemiro is one of the most high-profile names on that list, and the Brazilian has already announced that he will be leaving Old Trafford upon the expiration of his current deal.
As for Harry Maguire, the Red Devils are considering a short-term extension amid interest from Premier League and Serie A sides.
Both Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia look to be on their way out after falling out of favour with the club.
Tom Heaton expected to be offered a new deal
There is also Tom Heaton, who, despite not making an appearance for three years, is among the leadership group within the squad.
His contract also ends at the end of the current campaign, and all signs pointed towards an eventual exit in the summer. But as per The Telegraph, INEOS are keen to offer him an extension.
His invaluable experience, leadership qualities and his work within the goalkeeping group have impressed the hierarchy, who want to offer him another short-term deal.
“With centre-back Harry Maguire, left-back Tyrell Malacia and goalkeeper Tom Heaton also out of contract, United will be able to cut the wage bill considerably.

“And therefore will be armed with the ability to revamp the squad and address the obvious weaknesses at the heart of the team.
“Heaton is understood to be in the frame for an extension as United’s No 3 because of how he works in the group of goalkeepers.”
The England international has been close to leaving in both the last two summers, but for Erik ten Hag and INEOS to change their minds.
Since returning to his boyhood club under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 39-year-old has made a total of three appearances in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in all of them.
Tom Heaton has already opened up on what he wants to do after hanging up his gloves. Hopefully, he can add to his appearance tally before that.
