Although we’re approaching the final stretch of the January transfer window, there’s still plenty of business that could rock the transfer market. Here, we look at a few prospective Serie A switches that have the fans refreshing their feeds.

PSV’s Ivan Perisic continues to be linked with Inter. The 33-year-old former Nerazzurri man has been touted for a return to Milan, with the Eindhoven club fuelling rumours of a departure with their scouting of a potential replacement. According to Sky Sport, the Eredivisie leaders are pushing to sign Alphadjo Cisse, Hellas Verona’s highly rated 2006-born talent, who is currently impressing on loan at Catanzaro in Serie B.

After already attempting to bring him to San Siro last summer, Milan still want to sign Joe Gomez from Liverpool. As previously reported, the centre-back’s is a profile that appeals greatly to manager Massimiliano Allegri, and he has reportedly urged the board to make a move.

According to Calcio Mercato, Allegri has rejected a proposal to sign Tottenham defender Radu Drăgușin, who joined the Premier League club from Genoa in January 2024 for €25 million. With this, Roma have a chance to strike, as their reported interest could culminate with a loan move (with an option to buy).

Youssef En-Nesyri is getting closer to becoming a Juventus player. As well as a verbal agreement for this move, currently structured as a loan deal with an option to buy, the Fenerbahce president has also given his approval. The striker is now meeting with his agent to give his final approval: updates are expected in the next few hours.

Following the arrivals of Tommaso Baldanzi,  Nils Zatterstrom and Latif Ouedraogo, Genoa continue to work on incoming transfers, as now, Cedric Bakambu has been linked with a move to Italy from Real Betis. This season in all competitions, the Congolese forward has two goals and registered two assists in 15 games.

With the completion of a permanent deal (with compensation and several bonuses totalling €20 million), Giovane is a new Napoli player. The 22-year-old former Corinthians man heads to the Diego Armando Maradona after three goals and four assists in 21 Serie A matches.

Following the official announcement, the Brazilian thanked Verona for a fine six-month stint with a post on Instagram: I arrived in Italy on tiptoe, full of dreams and expectations. Verona immediately welcomed me with love, giving me confidence on and off the pitch. In just a few months, Hellas and all the Gialloblù fans have entered my heart, making me a better footballer and, above all, a more mature person.”
