Random Ramsdom: You know, they look so Seattle

Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 1/24/26

I have been trying to log-in to write this all morning, and finally, here I am. And you know what I think? I think: “You look so Seattle, but you feel so L.A.“ Miss you, Cooper Kupp.

How lucky am I? I get to enjoy my favorite football team and plug music by Fall Out Boy, so I am very lucky.

My favorite team is in the NFC Championship, and though their defense may be being a bit cocky (check the link below), they feel good about their chances. On some level, you have to love that.

It’s Saturday. I am going to enjoy mine. Please enjoy yours.

See you Sunday. Good news NFC West fans, (unless you are a San Francisco 49ers fan) the 49ers can’t win tomorrow.

Thanks for checking us out right here at Turf Show Times!

Rams defense looking forward to flashing ‘receiver skills’ vs. Sam Darnold, Seahawks (nfl.com)

“Darnold led the NFL with 20 giveaways in 2025, with 14 INTs and six lost fumbles. Six of those 14 interceptions came against L.A. Safety Kamren Kinchens snagged two of the four Rams’ INTs in their Week 11 meeting.

“Usually, you hope a guy doesn’t make the same mistake twice,” Kinchens said of Darnold, via the Los Angeles Times. “In my case, I’m hoping he makes the same mistake twice, because that’s more picks for me.”

Four of the second-year safety’s six career INTs have come against Seattle. He was asked if the Seahawks are his favorite team to face.

“Yes,” Kinchens said, “Because they like to test the secondary. They have good receivers and Sam Darnold wants to throw the ball down the field and push it down the field.

“That’s a lot of opportunities, and I love when I get to show people my receiver skills.”

How narrow loss to Rams in November inspired Seahawks to make it their last (komonews)

“Yet, despite arguably their most poor effort all season, the Seahawks only lost 21-19. They could have won, but a longshot 61-yard field goal attempt from Jason Myers was a tad too far.

That moment, even in a loss, showed this team something. That even their worst was almost enough to beat one of the NFL’s best.

From there? Eight straight wins, a NFC West title, and now on the doorstep of Super Bowl 60.“
