After Vaz and Malen, Roma are looking to make at least one more signing in attack.
Baldanzi and Bailey have left Trigoria, while Dovbyk will be out for a long time. Venturino arrived from Genoa, but this is a long-term move.
The coach is therefore pushing for at least two reinforcements, one in attack and one on the left flank.
Regarding the former, Roma is looking at several options.
In recent hours, Carrasco’s name has come up, but he’s considered more of a plan B.
The Giallorossi have been tracking Tottenham’s Tel for a few weeks, but Spurs have not opened up about the Frenchman’s loan.
As Fabrizio Romano reports, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank closed down any possibility of Tel joining the Giallorossi, saying in a press conference: “There are no further moves planned. We need to keep the players we have in the squad, to have enough to play with and perform with.”
Therefore, Roma will have no choice, and will now have to evaluate other options, which are not lacking. For the left flank, however, there is still a gap between supply and demand and Fiorentina.
