PHOENIX – Dillon Brooks didn’t back down when talking about Lakers star LeBron James on a Twitch stream with Agent 00. He also revealed why he feels he is able to trash-talk one of the NBA’s legends, and it’s because Brooks thinks he is old.

Suns’ Dillon Brooks says he can trash talk LeBron James because he is “old”:

Phoenix Suns SF Dillon Brooks jokingly called LeBron James, “old”, when he was on a live cast with a massive streamer Agent 00. Although after recent altercations in this past season, it seems that there might be a little more behind that.

When Brooks said he can talk more smack to James now because he’s older, while admitting that Miami-era LeBron James was untouchable, it landed because it was honest. At his peak, James combined elite strength, speed, and stamina in a way the data still struggles to capture. Five years ago, he punished trash talk with force. Those days are seemingly behind him. Currently, Brooks thinks that since James is in the final stage of his career, he doesn’t know what to do when opponents show that they are capable of contending with him, and much more.
