The Moroccan captain finishes at the top of the scorers' chart with 5 goals to her name.

Ghizlane Chebbak, captain of the Atlas Lionesses, finished as the top scorer of the 2024 Women's AFCON. The Moroccan vice-champion netted five goals throughout the tournament, which concluded on July 26 at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
Chebbak opened her account against Zambia before scoring a hat-trick against DR Congo on matchday two. Her fifth goal came in the final against Nigeria, giving Morocco the lead as early as the 12th minute. Despite the 3-2 defeat to the Super Falcons, the attacking midfielder held on to the top spot in the scorers' standings.
At 34, the Atlas Lionessesβ skipper played in her third Women's AFCON and has firmly established herself as one of the leading figures in African women's football. Already joint-top scorer in 2022, Ghizlane Chebbak becomes the first Moroccan player to win the continental Golden Boot twice.
